Walters brothers win medals in Hamilton

HAMILTON - Matt and Nick Walters of West Ferris Secondary School competed in the 91st Highlander Indoor Games at the Copps Coliseum here.


Matt was a silver medallist in the open boys 1,500-metre final with a time of 4:12. His twin brother, Nick, captured bronze with a personal best time of 4:19.

The brothers ran in separate heats earlier in the day to qualify for the final.

Forty athletes, mostly from the Toronto area, competed in the event.
